Aaero2: Black Razor Edition Launches December 16 With New Music Packs and a Month Long DJ Showcase
Wired Productions and indie rhythm specialists Mad Fellows have officially announced that Aaero2: Black Razor Edition will launch worldwide on December 16 for PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and GOG. To celebrate the release, Xbox and Steam players will also receive new DLC Music Packs, expanding the game’s growing soundtrack.
The project comes from Mad Fellows, a micro studio founded by former Guitar Hero and DJ Hero developers Dan Horbury and Paul Norris. Working in partnership with Monstercat and Wired’s own Black Razor Records, the studio has created a rhythm rail shooter where your controller effectively becomes an instrument. Tracing ribbons of light, firing missiles to the beat, and syncing movement with the soundtrack all combine to turn gameplay into a performance.

The Black Razor Sessions Begin
To mark the launch, Wired Productions is hosting The Black Razor Sessions, a month long Twitch event created with HIP IME and headlined by DJSP. The takeover features guest DJs from across the UK electronic scene, with reveals, sets, and updates dropping throughout the run. In Aaero2 players control a mysterious spacecraft, tracing glowing ribbons to release musical energy. The game blends rail shooter action with rhythm gameplay as you dodge enemies, fire missiles to the beat, and face massive boss creatures across vibrant alien worlds.
