Aaero2: Black Razor Edition Launches on PS5, Epic and GOG
Aaero2: Black Razor Edition, the definitive version of the cult rhythm-shooter, is out now on PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, and GOG, publisher Wired Productions and indie developer Mad Fellows have confirmed.
To mark the launch, two new Music Packs have also been released for Xbox and PC players, bringing the Black Razor Records tracks to existing Aaero2 versions, along with new achievements.
The Definitive Rhythm-Shooter Experience
Black Razor Edition represents the most ambitious version of Aaero2 to date, expanding the game’s soundtrack and visuals while pushing its signature rhythm-driven rail-shooter gameplay even further.
Players fly through cyberpunk arcade cities and vast cosmic structures, tracing ribbons of light and unleashing missile barrages in perfect sync with high-tempo EDM tracks. Every level is built around the music, turning each run into a fast-paced audiovisual performance.
The expanded soundtrack features music from Wired Productions’ in-house label Black Razor Records, including exclusive tracks and bespoke levels inspired by Arcade Paradise. The edition also includes music produced by former The Prodigy drummer Kieron Pepper, alongside additional licensed tracks from Monstercat.
New Music and Visual Upgrades
Aaero2: Black Razor Edition introduces a range of new content and enhancements, including:
- Exclusive tracks from Black Razor Records, including music from Arcade Paradise
- Songs by Lania Kea, a rising artist from the Black Razor Records roster
- Additional licensed tracks from Monstercat
- New environments and worlds inspired by Arcade Paradise and Black Razor Records
- Expanded visuals designed to enhance the game’s signature flow state
Mad Fellows, founded by former Guitar Hero and DJ Hero developers, partnered with both Monstercat and Black Razor Records to push Aaero2 into its most music-focused form yet.
