FALLENSTAR Makes Its First Drop with Trailer and Steam Page Launch

Solo developer NebulaVoid Interactive has officially revealed FALLENSTAR, a roguelike metroidvania set in a crumbling corporate dystopia. The announcement trailer dropped today, giving players their first look at the grim, fast-paced action coming to PC.

In FALLENSTAR you take on the role of Aetherion’s newest expendable agents, sent to the hostile planet 347TH2-Terminus. Each run is a battle for survival where every failure leaves behind progress, upgrades, and hard-earned lessons for the next attempt. Different agent classes bring their own weapons and skills to the table, while tactical combat and unforgiving bosses demand sharp reflexes and smart choices.

The game’s pixel art world paints a haunting picture of a future consumed by corporate power, with NPCs, AI whispers, and shifting environments filling in the bigger story. Whether you play cautiously or go all in, each deployment is both a risk and a step closer to the truth behind “Project: Red Sun.”

FALLENSTAR is the debut title from Ben, founder of NebulaVoid Interactive. A former software engineer turned solo dev, he cites a love of immersive stories and disillusionment with corporate culture as the sparks that fueled the project.
