Cookies on Rob’s Game Shack

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed to
make the site work at all. The rest are optional, and on this site they stay
switched off until you say otherwise.
If you are visiting from the UK or the European Economic Area you will have been
asked when you first arrived. You can change your answer at any time using the
Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page.

Analytics — optional

Embedded content and marketing — optional
Off unless you turn them on. Videos, storefronts and social posts on this site
are hosted by other companies. When one loads, that company can see that you
viewed the page it is on, and may set cookies of its own for their advertising.
The companies involved are YouTube (Google), Vimeo and Steam (Valve).
With this switched off you will see a panel where each embed would be, with a
button to load that one by hand. Loading a single embed that way does not switch
anything on — you will be asked again on the next page.
Changing your mind
Use the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Turning something off stops
anything new being set, but it does not delete what a third party has already
stored — you can clear those through your browser’s own settings, usually under
Privacy.
You can also block or delete cookies entirely in your browser. Some parts of the
site, such as signing in, will stop working if you do.
