Jump Space Blasts Off with 130,000 Players in First 24 Hours
Co-op space FPS Jump Space from Stockholm-based indie studio Keepsake Games has officially launched, and the response has been nothing short of stellar. In just the first 24 hours, more than 130,000 players, known in-game as Atirans, have joined the resistance.
A Strong Start for Early Access
The massive day-one support means that Keepsake can fully deliver on their Early Access roadmap, locking in all planned features, updates, and polish. The developers say this milestone ensures the game’s vision will reach its full potential, with plenty of new content and improvements on the way.
Listening to the Community
Keepsake Games is actively combing through community feedback. A first patch has already been released on Steam, addressing crashes related to certain languages (Japanese, Ukrainian, Russian, among others) along with additional fixes.
For Xbox players, a patch is in the works and should roll out in the coming days to help mitigate crash issues. The team emphasized that stability fixes are a top priority as they monitor performance and feedback across both platforms.
Charting the Course Ahead
Players are also encouraged to enable in-game telemetry (Options -> Privacy -> Telemetry Setting) to help the devs track and resolve issues more quickly.
With such a strong launch, the studio is energized for the journey ahead:
The ship is flying, and with you aboard, we’re ready to chart the course ahead! From all of us at Keepsake: Thank you! ❤️
