Jump Space

Jump Space, formerly known as Jump Ship, is a mission-based cooperative PvE game for up to four players. Players act as the crew of a spaceship and move between operating the vessel, space walking and exploring planets on foot. Combat takes place both on the ground and in space. The game can also be played solo.

Missions are hand-crafted and include random elements, so each run differs. Between and during missions, players scavenge for parts and resources to repair, upgrade and customise their ship. Guns and ship components can be modified, and the ship’s energy output can be adjusted to favour speed, defence or attack capability.

The game has no set classes. Crew members decide their own roles, such as piloting, engineering or field exploration, and coordinate to handle enemy attacks, put out fires on the command deck and adjust the ship’s power grid. Examples of activities include steering through an asteroid field and using a jetpack to reach an enemy vessel and sabotage its core.
