Jack’s Achievements Simulator: Dog & Lava

Jack’s Achievements Simulator: Dog & Lava is a 3D platformer built around unlocking achievements. The game awards achievements for many actions, including jumping, falling and being defeated, and ships with 100 achievements. The developer states that a further 1000 are planned for later addition.

The game is structured across three stages containing nine levels in total. In the first level, the player must stay on the roof of a house by holding the W key while the dog Jack attempts to push them off. In the second level, the lava level rises and the player has to jump between cubes to avoid the flames while Jack tries to throw them in. In the third level, Jack becomes an acid dog and the player must blow on him to keep him from making contact.

Each stage has its own setting. Stage 1 takes place in a new house, Stage 2 in an old house where plaster can be peeled from the walls to uncover secrets, and Stage 3 replaces the house with a large nut and adds a bubble bounce that lets the player fly around the map. The game uses physics-based movement and includes jokes in each level. It is controlled through direct movement and jumping rather than text-based buttons.
