Jack’s Achievements Simulator: Dog & Lava

Jack’s Achievements Simulator: Dog & Lava is a 3D platformer built around an achievement system. Jumping, dying and other actions in the game each unlock an achievement. The game includes 100 achievements at launch, and the developer has stated that 1,000 more are planned. A new DLC item has recently been added on Steam.

The game centres on Jack, a dog who actively interferes with the player. On Level 1, the player must hold onto a roof while holding the W key so that Jack does not push them off. On Level 2, lava rises quickly, and the player jumps between cubes, avoids flames and tries not to be thrown into the magma by Jack. On Level 3, Jack mutates into an acid-covered version of himself, and the player must blow him away to avoid contact. Ragdoll physics and prank-style events are featured throughout.

The game is divided into three stages containing nine levels in total. Stage 1 takes place in a new house and includes the first hard-mode challenges. Stage 2 is set in an old abandoned house, where players can peel plaster from the walls to find hidden secrets. Stage 3 moves away from the house setting to a giant nut, and includes a bubble bounce mechanic that lets the player fly around the map.
