Chomp Garden

Chomp Garden is a puzzle game developed around the idea of directing plants using light. The player controls a small lamp whose pup has run off into a garden filled with unusual plants, and the aim is to follow after it. Progress through the garden is made room by room, with each room requiring the player to gather all of its fireflies in order to open the exit door.

The central mechanic is that carrying fireflies causes the lamp to glow, and this glow affects the plants in the environment. Chomp Plants grow towards the light, Thief Plants move away from it, and Hidey Bushes can be used to conceal the light. Puzzles are built around using these behaviours to reshape the plants and clear a path onward.

Alongside the main route, the garden contains small secrets placed along side paths and in corners for players who choose to explore. The developer describes it as a compact experience, with a running time of roughly one to two hours.
