Gnomes
Gnomes puts you in charge of a tiny defence force protecting your crops from waves of goblins. It’s turn based, so you can shuffle your gnomes about as much as you like each turn, setting up defenses and growing your economy before the horde arrives. Simple to pick up, but there’s real strategy in working out where everyone needs to stand.
We love how the roguelike elements stack up here. Every run throws a different mix of relics, crops and upgrades your way, and finding the combos that click together is where the game really shines. Pick a guild and you get a unique starting gnome, economy and relic, each with its own strengths and weaknesses, so no two campaigns feel the same.
The map grows every day, biomes shift under your feet, and the goblins just keep coming. Beat the goblin king and you can push into endless mode to see how many nights you can hold out. It’s the kind of game that keeps whispering “one more run” long after you meant to stop playing.
