一落春The First Spring is a narrative-driven visual novel set in an Eastern fantasy world. The player takes the role of Elior Fang, the only son of the late master of the declining Lingguang Pavilion. He is treated as a servant by his eldest senior, Batur, and his second senior, Tanzar Yu, while the acting master, Ashriel Hua, remains distant and withdrawn from the world.

The story changes when Elior finds the missing half of a Nine-Tailed Fox Jade Pendant left by his father. When the two halves join, a mystical aura is awakened and a strange fragrance begins to come from everyone in the Pavilion. Elior finds that his seniors seem unable to resist his will under the influence of his scent.

Gameplay centres on the player’s choices, which affect the emotional bonds between characters and decide how the story ends. The game has three main branches, each exploring the past of a different character, and several possible endings. It combines Eastern mysticism with a fragrance mechanic drawn from the ABO (Omegaverse) setting.
