Arms of God
We built Arms of God to feel like Doom crashed headfirst into a bullet heaven, and honestly we think it hits just right. You’re wielding up to five sacred weapons at once, mixing ranged and melee, gunning down demon hordes to a soundtrack of proper metal while everything explodes into satisfying gore.
There are 60 weapons to mess about with, and the real fun is merging and upgrading them into ridiculous, world-ending combinations. Every demon you face has its own attack patterns and quirks, so you’re constantly adapting your build to survive, and when you find a synergy that clicks it feels brilliant. Between runs you head back to the Cathedral, your hub for levelling up heroes, forging gear and generally getting stronger for the next crusade.
With 10 heroes to choose from and 60 handcrafted levels telling the story of humanity’s fall, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into. It’s a one man project from Dark Jay Studio, runs great on Steam Deck, and works a treat for quick one handed sessions when you just want to melt some hell spawn.
