Bullet Barrage

Bullet Barrage is a 1v1 action game in which two fighters fly freely through an arena and attack each other with dense patterns of projectiles. It uses a commandless control scheme, so each action is assigned directly to a button and no directional command inputs need to be memorised. A game controller is required to play.

There are eight playable characters, each with their own weapons, projectile patterns, preferred range and combat style. Offensive options are split across Main, Sub 1, Sub 2 and Special attacks, which can be combined to restrict where an opponent can move. Defensive options are Dash, Guard and Bomb, and Dash can also be used to close distance. Attacking, dashing and guarding all draw on an energy resource that players have to manage.

The game can be played against the CPU, in local versus, or online through Random Match, which searches automatically for an opponent, or Room Match, in which players create or join a room to face a specific person. Steam Remote Play Together is supported. A tutorial and a training mode are included. The full version is planned to include a Story Mode featuring the characters. The game supports English and Japanese, with the starting language chosen from the player’s Steam language setting and changeable in the in-game CONFIG menu.
