A stylish turn-based RPG from Sandfall Interactive set in a dark fantasy world inspired by Belle Époque France, blending tactical combat with real-time elements

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a narrative-driven RPG developed by Sandfall Interactive and published by Kepler Interactive. Set in a haunting world where a godlike figure known as the Paintress erases people from existence each year, the game follows a desperate expedition attempting to break the cycle.

Combat combines classic turn-based systems with real-time mechanics, rewarding timing, positioning, and character synergy. Outside of battle, the game leans heavily on atmosphere, worldbuilding, and character-driven storytelling, with a visual style heavily influenced by Belle Époque art and surreal fantasy.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, Expedition 33 quickly gained attention for its presentation, ambition, and confident debut, establishing Sandfall Interactive as a studio to watch in the RPG space.
