A tiny roguelike citybuilder where you mix and match guilds, chain combos, and grow a hamlet into a proper city in bite sized 30 minute runs.

Combolands packs a surprising amount of strategy into a small package. We love how it takes citybuilder mechanics and roguelike deckbuilding and squashes them together into 30 minute bursts, where every building placement matters and the right combo can send your numbers rocketing.

Each run you pick 2 guilds from a pantheon of 7, and with 21 possible combinations there’s always a fresh way to grow your hamlet into a proper city. Throw in 120+ buildings, over 100 passive heirlooms, upgrades, potions and a roster of city councillors to recruit, and you’ve got a game that keeps giving you new toys to break the game with.

Procedurally generated islands mean no two runs look the same, and with 10 ranks to climb there’s plenty of room to refine your strategy and chase that satisfying number-go-up feeling. It’s a lovely mix of chill and challenging, perfect for a quick session or three.
