Desktop Mate Tsurumaki Maki DLC adds the character Tsurumaki Maki to Desktop Mate, the base application required to use this content. Tsurumaki Maki originated in 2007 as a character of the jamBAND and later became known as a speech synthesis software character from AHS Co. Ltd. Her outfit in this DLC is based on the designs from Synthesizer V Tsurumaki Maki and Synthesizer V 2 AI Tsurumaki Maki, and her voice has been newly recorded by voice actress Manami Tanaka.

The DLC includes a set of motions centred on her guitar, Musutan, which she strums while standing and tunes while seated. On appearing she strikes a chord and says her catchphrase, and on leaving she waves and jumps away. When an alarm rings she offers a cup of tea, and clicking her prompts encouraging voice lines. Some lines refer to making omurice or to Kissaten Maki, the coffee shop run by her father. Patting her triggers a surprised reaction with star and heart effects based on her logo, while grabbing her produces varied responses, including panicking, enjoying the view from above, or mentioning lasagna.

Users must update Desktop Mate to the latest version before use. The content is subject to the Character Usage Guidelines published on the AHS Co. Ltd. website, which permit streaming and posting videos on platforms such as YouTube, Niconico and Twitch. The included content is the Tsurumaki Maki character.
