Dungeons of Hinterberg

Dungeons of Hinterberg is an action-adventure game set in Hinterberg, a fictional tourist destination in the Austrian Alps. Players control Luisa, who leaves her corporate job to explore the region’s dungeons, uncovering a hidden mystery beneath the area’s peaceful surface. The game combines dungeon exploration, puzzle-solving and combat with open-world traversal, including activities such as snowboarding and mountain climbing.

Each dungeon features puzzles built around specific mechanics, requiring players to use a range of spells and abilities to progress. Combat involves a sword alongside magic skills, including abilities such as manipulating wind, summoning a hoverboard and freezing enemies. Outside of dungeons, players can explore the wider environment and interact with the town’s setting during the day.

In the evenings, players can build relationships with local characters and other adventurers in town, some of whom provide gameplay benefits while others offer optional social interactions. The town includes a clothing store where players can purchase outfits, alongside a photo mode with filters, poses and overlays. The game also supports replaying from the beginning while retaining inventory, stats and most relationship progress from a previous playthrough, with players able to choose whether to keep or reset individual relationships.
