Echobreaker

Echobreaker is a speedrunning game with precision combat, set in the year 2097. The player is brought in by TDS Industries to evaluate an experimental rig powered by a Temporal Echo Drive. The testing courses use live fire and are designed to put pressure on both the machine and its pilot, with the aim of finding how far the rig can be pushed.

Speed is the central resource, and it carries a cost. Players can sacrifice their own health to gain momentum while aiming for faster, cleaner runs. Entering the Echo State slows time, and defeating enemies while in it produces bursts of speed. As momentum builds, time fractures and reveals riskier routes and hidden advantages. Each track is structured as a puzzle to be solved at speed.

Every run is recorded and assigned a tiered medal, and best times are posted to a global leaderboard. Levels can be restarted instantly, with the player racing against their own recorded echo. Once a level has been completed, challenge modes are available that test reactions and add new tweaks to the course. One new DLC item has recently been added on Steam.
