ERA ONE

Era One is a real-time strategy game that blends base building, ship customization, and space combat. Players construct stations, warships, bases, and cities using modular assembly components, with no fixed limit on shape or size. The game is set in a science fiction universe where humanity, having exhausted Earth’s resources, expanded into space through the Great Colonization, eventually forming the Free Federation of Worlds and constructing vast fortified space cities known as Navi Mondo. The story follows Alya De Shars as she navigates political collapse, resource scarcity, and the search for a new beginning beyond the Solar System.

Base construction in Era One allows players to design layouts and structures according to their own playstyle, requiring management of raw materials, energy, and workforce to sustain and expand their settlements. Defensive structures such as turrets and traps can be built to protect bases from attack, with strategic placement and upgrades forming part of base defence. A research system allows players to unlock new technologies that improve construction techniques, resource extraction, and defensive capabilities.

Ship design follows a similarly modular approach, letting players customise hull types, sizes, and aesthetics while installing components such as propulsion systems, weapons, cargo holds, and utility modules. Ships can be upgraded over time with new technologies affecting speed, defence, firepower, and exploration capability. The game also features an original piano-based soundtrack composed by Alberto Selvaggi, created in response to the game’s narrative and lore.
