Eslabong is an arena battle game set in a medieval world where war has been replaced by structured combat between mercenary clubs. Players can take direct control of a single fighter during real-time battles, aiming abilities, moving, and reacting to opponents through positioning and timing, or take a tactical approach by setting strategies and watching their team fight automatically.

Winning battles earns gold, which can be used to buy and sell mercenaries and strengthen a team’s roster. The game features multiple classes with unique abilities, allowing players to shape their team composition and upgrade their roster across successive seasons. Teams compete in structured leagues and tournaments, facing rival clubs and unique leaders while recruiting rare champions.

Each playthrough includes randomised stats, evolving rosters, and dynamic opponents, meaning no two seasons play out the same way. A market system provides additional ways to adapt and improve a team as players climb through the ranks of the league system.
