Megastore Chaos

Megastore Chaos is a single-player simulation game set in a large shopping mall. The player restores disorganised shops to order by placing products in the correct categories and arranging them on shelves. The game has no countdown or time pressure, so players can work at their own pace.

Players begin with a small store and use the money they earn to unlock further sections of the mall. There are six shops in total, each with its own kind of mess: a supermarket with 10,386 products, a game store with 7,776 game DVDs, a book shop with 4,732 books and magazines sorted by genre, an electronics store with 2,809 items, a wine shop with 1,956 bottles, and a toy store with 2,333 toys. Across all six shops there are 29,992 individual items to organise.

The game also includes a skill system. Experience gained while organising can be spent on new abilities, such as organising faster or carrying items more efficiently, allowing the player to adjust the character to their preferred playstyle.
