A short psychological horror visual novel in which Yuna drives overnight toward a trial placement and receives videos from an abandoned account that appear to show her own journey.

Murmuring of Moth Mouth is a psychological horror visual novel with a playthrough length of roughly 30 minutes. The player follows Yuna, who is driving through the night to a trial placement in Morrow City, a position she hopes will move her life forward after a period of stagnation.

During the drive, a new upload appears on the Dead Channel, an abandoned vertical-video account that was created by someone called Pimmy and last posted eleven years earlier. The clip shows Yuna’s own car on her own route, along with an unfamiliar girl standing beside the highway. After moths swarm the headlights and Yuna clips a guardrail, she sees the girl from the video further along the road. A composed man named Orzi then arrives, asks for her phone, refers to her as a Route Candidate and tells her to go back to where she started. Yuna continues driving regardless.

The story takes place over the course of a single overnight road trip in which exits repeat, distances stop behaving consistently, and the videos Yuna receives show her locations she has not yet reached.
