Nuktedan: The Forgotten Emotions

Nuktedan: The Forgotten Emotions is a top-down puzzle-adventure lasting roughly two to three hours. The player controls Nuktedan, a small bird who has lost his memories to Alzheimer’s. His world was once full of colour, with each colour representing a memory, and it is now black and white. The memories have left traces behind, and these traces form the puzzles the player works through.

The central mechanic involves guiding a laser to a cube. As the player recovers emotions, each one is tied to a colour and unlocks a specific ability. Yellow (hope) allows time to be rewound, blue (depression) provides stealth and ice placement, red (anger) destroys enemies and tears down walls, brown (trust) offers ground control, green (peace) renews energy, pink (love) enables enemy manipulation, and purple (mystery) reveals invisible objects. Certain puzzles can only be solved once the relevant emotion has been gained.

The game was made by a single 20-year-old developer. It has received 4 user reviews on Steam at the time of writing.
