Pillow vs Chickens is a horizontal side-scrolling shooter in which a jetpack-equipped pillow fires buttons at chickens and other enemies while collecting treasure across levels.
Pillow vs Chickens is a horizontal side-scrolling shooter. The player controls a pillow fitted with a jetpack, moving through levels and firing buttons at enemies. Enemies include chickens, chickens moving in flocks, kamikaze attackers and saw-rollers. Levels also contain traps such as spikes, rollers, magnets and crushing gates.
Alongside the standard shooting, the pillow has a shockwave blast that pushes enemies and crates away. Power-ups can be picked up during play, including a fire pillow variant among other boosts. Collectible items include coins, crystals and life feathers, and each level has three stars to be earned.
The game uses a bright cartoon art style.
