Pumpkin Woods

Pumpkin Woods is a witch-themed open world survival crafting sandbox developed by a third-party studio and set in a strange, unforgiving forest. Players gather magical resources, brew potions and trade with merchants while keeping track of four survival meters: health, happiness, hunger and thirst. The world is shaped by procedural generation and dynamic weather, and it contains mysterious landmarks to explore along with hidden secrets scattered throughout.

Movement options include travelling on foot, by enchanted broom or in a traveller wagon. Players can customise their witch’s attire, furnish a secluded cabin and adopt a companion in the form of a cat or a unicorn. The developer describes the game as offering no handholding, with players expected to explore, experiment and work things out for themselves, and death is presented as an expected part of the experience that informs later attempts.
