Rogue Circuit
Rogue Circuit is a racing roguelite built around assembling a strategy while drivers compete for position on track. Players pick a car and a driver, gain experience as a race unfolds, and put together a loadout of five cards that alter how the vehicle performs. The driver can be left to race on its own, or the player can step in and take direct control at any point.
Cards fall into five categories: Driver, Tuning, Technique, Powerup and Revenge. Tuning cards modify the car itself, Technique cards give it responses that react to race situations, Powerup cards can be triggered on particular sections of the circuit, and Revenge cards turn collisions into retaliation. Upgrades are offered as levels are earned, and existing cards can be swapped out when a preferable option appears. The game does not use fixed synergy bonuses, so effects combine on their own terms. Rival drivers also build loadouts and race with differing behaviour, meaning the field grows more capable and unpredictable as a championship progresses.
Races feature changing weather and two distinct presentations, one GT3 themed and one Halloween themed. A camera system lets players follow any driver or leave a TV style camera to pick out overtakes, impacts and revenge moments. A Custom mode allows selection of maps, weather, card categories, tiers, lap count and experience rules, while a Sandbox mode lets players equip specific cards and examine combinations straight away.
