Shady job

Shady job is a co-operative adventure game in which players take the role of construction workers hired to carry a body bag to the top of a skyscraper and bury it in concrete. The plan is disrupted when the body inside wakes up and tries to escape. The developer describes it as best played with a group of four. The game has now been released on Steam and holds a Mostly Positive rating from over 100 user reviews.

The central mechanic is the bag itself, which is not treated as passive cargo. It struggles, breaks free, damages structures and can knock players from ledges. Rough handling causes it to become more aggressive. To make progress, players construct unstable bridges across drops using various building blocks, where a single error can bring down the whole structure. Cranes and platforms can be operated to climb higher above the city, and the construction sites contain traps and other environmental hazards.

The game is built around physics-based co-op play. Players can break through walls and windows, and use a tool called the Plunger Gun to climb, stay alive and keep the bag under control. Teammates can be rescued from fatal falls, and routes through each level are intended to play out unpredictably as physics-driven events unfold.
