Soggy Beans

Soggy Beans is an idle game designed to be played alongside other activities. Fish visit the player’s seascape, much like watching birds, and the game can be left running during tasks such as checking emails, attending meetings or playing other games. Players can spend as much or as little time with it as they like.

Players spot fish of various shapes and sizes as they arrive and leave of their own accord. Each sighting is recorded in a journal, where players can keep track of the fish they have seen and update individual profiles. Photos of fish can be taken and saved, then used as journal profile pictures or as stickers in a scrapbook. Fish also knock beans loose from a bean machine, though they do not always drop them, and players collect the beans that fall.

The seascape can be customised with a range of furniture pieces. Items can be stacked, blueprints can be created, and backgrounds can be changed. Each piece affects the mood of the scene and helps attract certain fish.
