SPACE JK
SPACE JK is a slow-paced life simulation game about looking after pixel-art characters known as JK. Each JK hatches from a cosmic egg with a unique appearance and one of ten personality types, including cuddly, diligent, airheaded and cool. Their personality shapes how they respond to the same situations, and they gradually become more affectionate as the player spends time with them, pats them and shares snacks. Day to day, the JKs run errands, take part in club activities and occasionally go on excursions, and the player sometimes receives letters from them.
A central mechanic is sticker collecting. If a table is placed in the room, each resident JK draws one pixel-art sticker per day. There are twelve series and 144 designs, with seasonal and event artwork added over time. Stickers are stored in a personal sticker book that can be arranged freely, and unwanted designs can be traded with other players. Room customisation lets players pick colours, place furniture and choose from six moods that change the atmosphere and the view outside the window. Furniture can be repainted, allowing the same item to suit different room styles.
The game includes several shared features: Altair’s Sticker Book, a public album built by all players; the Wish Post for trading stickers; the Moonside Gallery, a personal exhibition space that others can visit; and JK Scout, which lets players welcome a JK raised by someone else. Raids occur when hostile visitors arrive from space, and players deal with them together. SPACE JK also runs in a web browser, and the Steam version uses the same account so progress carries over. A constant internet connection and a free FaSPel ID account are required, and content created by other players appears in parts of the game.
