Swarmvore

Swarmvore casts the player as the commander of a swarm of tiny predators facing a pit of living, armed structures. Each run is limited by hunger. The swarm bites through defences and collects biomass, which can be spent on immediate upgrades to keep it alive. Between runs, the player returns Essence to the Nest to buy permanent evolutions. Genes unlock as the swarm descends, up to two can be equipped at a time, and a mutation can be chosen to change how the swarm grows, survives or attacks. Purchases can be made by the player or handled by optional automation.

During a fight, the player can use six active powers: Pincer, Bellow, Spectral Tide, Fracture, Fulguration and Artillery. These can disrupt enemy weapons, cut through structures, launch electric strikes or deploy drones, and the timing of their use matters when the swarm is under fire. The campaign covers depths 0 to 10. The structures and threats change at each depth, and every depth ends in a timed duel. Devouring the final Core completes the campaign, after which players can revisit depths or attempt optional challenges.

The game offers several options for how it is played. Camera framing can be automatic or fixed, zoom and effect intensity can be adjusted, and the swarm can be rallied to direct its attention. An introductory tutorial explains the controls and resources. Progress is preserved when the game is updated, and players who want to experience the revised progression from the start can choose a fresh start with a backup.
