The Vast White
The Vast White puts you in the paws of a small mouse who turns up at a ski resort that’s seen better days. Grab your snowboard and carve your way down slopes, through snowy forests, and past frozen lakes as you piece together what happened to the place. There’s no set route here, so you can go looking for hidden trails or just enjoy the ride down.
The resort isn’t as empty as it looks either. You’ll bump into a cast of odd, likeable locals who’ve each got their own reasons for sticking around, and helping them out with small quests slowly brings the mountain back to life. Every job you finish opens up new areas and activities, so there’s always a bit more mountain to uncover.
This is one for anyone after something properly chilled out. There’s no rush to be first down the hill or to find the perfect line. Sometimes it’s nicer to just take the scenic route and see where you end up.
