Those Who Rule

Those Who Rule is a tactical turn-based RPG set in a low-fantasy, morally ambiguous world. Players take command of a group of recruits, building and training a party while uncovering the story behind a widespread conflict. Progress depends on strategic decision-making both in and out of combat.

Combat uses a team-based turn system in which unit positioning affects the outcome of battles, reducing reliance on random chance. Characters can be levelled up, assigned different classes, and equipped with customisable gear, allowing players to shape their party according to their preferred playstyle. Allies are recruited throughout the journey, each with distinct skills and backgrounds.

The game also features a branching narrative shaped by player choices. Decisions affect shifting loyalties among factions and characters, influencing later story developments and gameplay outcomes.
