A chilled-out papers-please style card checking sim set inside a deeply weird trading card corporation. Spot the fakes, value the real ones, and try not to lose your mind.

Trading Card Inspector puts you behind the desk as the newest quality control hire at Habubis Corporation, home of the wildly popular Habubis Trading Card Game. Your job is simple on paper: check each hand-drawn card against the guidelines, work out if it’s valid, shred the fakes and price up the rest. Simple, that is, until the rules start piling up and the company’s dodgy secrets start creeping in.

Work through Story Mode to uncover a plot full of shady coworkers, corporate cover ups and maybe even a murder or two, or just dive into Endless Mode and see how long you can last before the modifiers break your brain. There are over 160 hand-drawn cards to spot, each with its own daft little story, and a proper shop to spend your hard earned cash in once you’ve survived long enough.

There’s plenty of personality packed into this one. The 8-bit art style is fully customisable with unlockable palettes and desk patterns, so you can make your little corner of corporate misery actually feel like yours. And yes, Plarbo is in there too. Wait until you die, basically.
