TrailRush
TrailRush is a 2D platformer built around speedrunning. Its visual style is intended to make levels easy to read at a glance so that players can move with precision. The aim is to learn the layouts, biomes and obstacles well enough to set faster times and compete for records.
The game includes a Classic Mode of around ten levels that introduce the mechanics. Alongside this are several seasonal modes. Grand Prix presents a long level with multiple paths and branching routes, leaving players to work out the quickest combination. Mash Up gives five levels and five attempts, with the combined time counting as the result. Deathrun is a die-and-retry challenge twice the length of a Grand Prix, with punishing sections and two separate leaderboards: one for completing the level in as few attempts as possible and one for the fastest time. A Legacy Mode keeps previous seasonal levels available so players can continue chasing records on them.
Each biome has its own physics. Ice surfaces are slippery and require players to manage inertia, the moon setting features high jumps with timing that cannot be corrected mid-air, and clay removes inertia entirely for very precise movement. Worldwide leaderboards track seasonal rankings and personal bests, and the fastest players can unlock exclusive rewards.
