Trawler’s Wake

Trawler’s Wake is a survival game centred on fishing and resource management in Greywharf, a fishing town affected by anomaly zones, mutants and flooded areas. Players arrive expecting a holiday but instead find a decaying harbour environment to explore and survive in.

During the day, players sail out on their trawler to fish, collecting a variety of catches ranging from ordinary fish to unusual finds. Catches can be sold to a trader for money, which can be used to buy equipment and upgrades. Daytime exploration allows players to visit new areas of the map in search of resources and points of interest.

The trawler itself serves as the player’s vehicle, storage and base of operations. It requires maintenance, including managing fuel levels, repairing the engine and upgrading parts using scavenged materials and earned money. At night, fishing becomes more lucrative but more dangerous, as creatures emerge to threaten both the player’s catch and their safety, requiring evasion or combat to survive until morning.
