VLADiK BRUTAL

VLADiK BRUTAL is a shooter made by one developer, and the Steam page notes that bugs and errors are possible. It is set in a fictional country in Eastern Europe that has been run by the same dictator for many years. The ruler is described as paranoid, having carried out purges and killed people who opposed him. Citizens are tracked through chips implanted in the neck and made to wear identical clothing marked with a number, all under government control.

The story continues with the dictator building a large research centre to strengthen his assassins, with the labour carried out by prisoners. Many of those prisoners had resisted the regime. Some were executed, while others were jailed and used as slave labour. The developer states that all events and characters are fictional.

Listed features include a range of opponents and allies, 12 types of weapon, an original plot and a damage system described as brutal. Levels are designed with many easter eggs, and the game also includes various puzzles and secrets.
