Quack Quack Attack opens its closed beta: a pachinko style puzzler with a feathered crew

By Rob from the Shack

Chinese publisher HAOPLAY has kicked off the closed beta for Quack Quack Attack, a casual pachinko style puzzler that lands on iOS and Android on 11 June 2026. The beta is live from 21 May until 29 May, and it is the first proper public look at a game that has been quietly building intrigue thanks to its frankly excellent premise: ducks, eggs, and a magical ark.

So what is it, exactly

Players take the role of Captain Quack, a seafaring duck steering a magical ark across an ocean that has been overrun by monsters. Each stage drops you on a Peggle style board where you fire eggs at the enemies in front of you, ricocheting shots from one target to the next until the board is clear.

The hook beyond the core puzzle loop is the roster. The crew expands as you play, with more than fifty super powered avian companions to recruit and bring into your shots. It is a familiar gacha-adjacent loop on paper, but the pachinko foundation gives it a more tactile, physics led feel than the average mobile collector.

What beta testers get

HAOPLAY is leaning into the “thank you for testing” angle. Players who log in every day across the closed beta will pick up S-Class Hero Choice Packs and a stash of legendary God King Eggs at launch. Anyone who pushes through to the final level of the beta also unlocks an exclusive in-game title, “The Tested,” which carries forward to the live game.

A note worth flagging for anyone tempted to spend during the beta: all save data is wiped when it ends. Any purchases made during the test will be refunded in in-game currency at a higher rate at launch, but expect a fresh start when the game proper goes live.

Worth a look?

Pachinko style mobile puzzlers live or die on their feel, the satisfying clack of a chain reaction and the steady drip of new toys to play with. Quack Quack Attack has the visual hook to stand out in a crowded mobile market, and the closed beta is a low risk way to see whether the actual moment to moment play backs up the duck-shaped charm.
Quack Quack Attack launches on 11 June 2026 on iOS and Android. Pre-registration is open on the official site, with updates on Facebook, X, YouTube and Discord.
