1348 Ex Voto

1348 Ex Voto is a third-person action-adventure game set during the late medieval period in Italy. Players follow Aeta, a young knight errant, as she travels through a land marked by political conflict, banditry, mercenaries, religious extremism and disease, in search of her closest companion, Bianca.

Combat is built around sword fighting inspired by Historical European Martial Arts, with animations created using performance capture. Players can switch between two combat stances, one-handed and two-handed, and can find skill books throughout the game to unlock new combos and customise Aeta’s swordplay with different weapon parts.

The game features exploration of a 14th-century-inspired Italy, including medieval villages, castles, the mountainside of the Apennines and the remains of classical Rome. Players can search these environments for trinkets and treasures to add to a collection.
