Arcane Architect

Arcane Architect is a virtual reality tower defence game set in a fantasy world. The player takes the role of a battle archmage, standing in the middle of the battlefield rather than viewing it from above, and constructs large defensive structures in the immediate surroundings as monsters advance.

Each tower is made up of three independent sections, and combining different materials across these sections produces different attack types and synergies. When towers are not enough, the player can fight directly with a staff, casting fireballs at groups of enemies or releasing a shockwave. Alchemy is also carried out during battle: newly discovered ingredients can be brewed into potions, which can either be thrown at enemies to apply debuffs or used to apply buffs to towers.

The game includes a range of enemy types, each intended to be countered with different tower element combinations, along with large boss encounters. Winning battles unlocks rare tower building elements and alchemical recipes, expanding the available options from level to level.
