This comes from the team behind Ape Out and Getting Over It, so you already know the controls are going to mess with your head in the best way. Every step is a small negotiation with gravity, mud, and your own patience, and the mountain doesn’t care how many times you slip. There’s a soiled onesie system too, because of course there is.
It’s slow, it’s mist covered, and it’s got a soundtrack that shifts with your mood as you climb. Baby Steps is a walking simulator in the most literal sense possible.
