Letter Lost

Letter Lost places the player in the Wistvale Post Office on Kharnym Isle, working for a mail service described as the most efficient for 4,000 miles. As the only member of staff, the player is responsible for stamping, sorting and delivering post while keeping customers satisfied over the course of each shift. The island’s residents visit the counter, and a boss named Liv is on hand to guide the player through the working day.

The game’s premise carries an unsettling undertone. The player is given mandatory room and board within the post office, and the schedule makes no allowance for stepping outside. Nothing beyond the island’s locals is permitted to enter, and nothing is permitted to leave. Wages are paid daily and can be spent on upgrading and personalising the workspace. Small comforts such as coffee are available around the office, though the description stresses that the work takes priority.

Alongside the core mail handling, the game presents tasks that call on multitasking and problem-solving, with the developer stating there is more to the job than stamping letters. One DLC item has recently been added to the game’s Steam listing.
