Bang Bang Barrage
Bang Bang Barrage throws you straight into the deep end. You’ve gone and woken the Unnamable, and now hordes of minions are closing in from every side. The trick is that your gun’s recoil doubles as your dodge, so every shot you fire is also a chance to shove yourself out of harm’s way. It sounds simple until things start getting weird.
And things do get weird. Your power grows the longer you survive, but so do the hallucinations, so you can never quite trust what you’re looking at. Fire at anything suspicious, even the stuff that looks friendly. Swap outfits and you might see things that aren’t really there. Team up with your “drag-ons” for backup when the chaos ramps up, and if you ever end up staring down Cthulhu himself, well, good luck with that one.
We love how this one keeps you on edge without ever taking itself too seriously. It’s fast, a bit unhinged, and always keeps you guessing what’s real and what’s just your mind playing tricks. Oh, and apparently a kiss from a friend can bring you back from the dead, purely in-game terms, obviously.
