Run a restaurant with up to four mates, cook like mad, and try not to burn the whole place down. Chaotic co-op cooking at its finest.

PlateUp! is a co-operative restaurant management and cooking game for one to four players. Players design their kitchen by choosing and placing appliances, some of which can be connected together to form automated cooking setups, then prepare and serve dishes drawn from a range of mains, sides, sauces, toppings, starters and desserts. Between shifts, players plan and upgrade their restaurant, purchasing new equipment and rearranging their layout.

Gameplay covers both kitchen operations and front-of-house duties, including seating customers, delivering orders and managing customer patience. Progression takes place over 15 days, with players working to meet goals that allow them to advance to new restaurant locations, each featuring procedurally-generated conditions such as climate and customer types. Successive locations carry forward unlocked equipment and upgrades.

The game allows customisation of restaurant style and appearance, including decor and layout, letting players focus on either fast food or higher-end dining. A franchise headquarters area lets players track achievements, customise characters and upgrade equipment between playthroughs.
