Batomon Showdown

Batomon Showdown is a team-building game centred on creatures called Batomon. Players put together a team by combining Batomon with trainers, encounters, trinkets and items, then battle other players with the goal of becoming champion.

Battles take place in asynchronous multiplayer, so players face teams that other players have built rather than competing live. There are no timers, which means decisions can be made at the player’s own pace. Batomon can be levelled up and strengthened through a system of unique abilities, trinkets and items, and the game encourages players to look for synergies and combinations between Batomon when planning their team.

Players also choose a trainer, each of whom brings their own ability to battles. The roster includes bug-catchers, dragon-whisperers and chefs who can add new types to Batomon. The game has received more than 1,000 user reviews on Steam.
