Black Desert

Black Desert is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in an open world. It was built on Pearl Abyss’ proprietary game engine and uses remastered graphics and audio. Players can take part in combat, exploration, trading, fishing, training, alchemy, cooking, gathering and hunting across the game world.

Combat is non-target and fast-paced, relying on quick reactions, precise control and a set of commands and combos. For large-scale player-versus-player play, the game offers Node and Siege War, in which guilds fight each other on the battlefield. Winning guilds can become lords and take control of taxes, resources and other benefits.

The game includes a detailed character creation system that allows adjustment of features such as height, torso, face and skin texture, down to fine details. Alongside combat, players can pursue life skill activities including farming, trading, fishing, sailing, cooking, horse training and alchemy, which can be undertaken as an alternative or in addition to fighting.
