BONETOX

BONETOX is an arena-based first-person shooter influenced by the classic era of the genre. Players enter an arena and fight waves of demons using a varied arsenal that ranges from a chainsaw to a grenade launcher. The game features an advanced gore system with blood decals, bone physics and destructible enemies.

Combat includes several resource mechanics tied to how enemies are defeated. Sledgehammer kills grant armour, chainsaw kills restore health, and enemies called Martyrs drop ammunition. Reloading is manual and magazines are wasted, so reloading too early means losing the remaining ammunition. Temporary power-ups are available that change the rules of combat.

The arena environment changes as the game progresses. Traps evolve with each wave, and pools of blood can turn into spike traps. Progression is handled through a skill tree, and global leaderboards let players compare scores with others and try to beat their own records.
