Breathedge

Breathedge is a survival adventure game set in outer space. Players control a man tasked with delivering his grandfather’s ashes to a galactic funeral, whose journey is interrupted when the space hearse he is travelling on crashes, leaving him stranded among debris, coffins and deceased passengers. As the story unfolds, the character becomes involved in a wider conspiracy.

The game combines survival mechanics with exploration and crafting. Players must manage needs such as oxygen, temperature and safety, with hazards including suffocation, freezing, incineration and electrocution. Crafting materials, primarily represented by electrical tape, can be used to create a range of items, from purely decorative or useless objects to functional tools and equipment.

Players can construct and customise a personal space station, installing systems for oxygen and electricity, along with furniture and equipment such as solar panels. Transportation options are also available, including small rockets and a larger space shuttle, which allow faster movement through the environment. The game features a narrative-driven storyline delivered with an ironic tone throughout.
