The Gate Must Stand
The Continent has fallen and the Invasion has reached Belrak. You’re the last line of defense, and it’s up to you to keep the city gate standing against everything that’s coming for it. The Gate Must Stand is a medieval fantasy roguelike tower defense game that throws you right into the fight, not just commanding from a distance but swinging weapons and casting spells alongside your recruits.
You’ll pick from four heroes, each with their own combat style, then build out your squad from a roster of followers with tonnes of upgrade paths and ultimate forms to unlock. Place your allies carefully, cover each other’s weak spots, and find those synergies that turn a scrappy defense into an unstoppable wall of chaos. Your heroes can fall and get back up, but the gate only gets one life, so every decision matters.
Every five minutes a demonic boss turns up wanting to ruin your day, and beating them nets you relics that can evolve your followers into proper powerhouses. With loads of skills, maps, difficulty levels and a solid meta progression system, every run gives you another shot at getting further, even if the gate falls this time round.
