CarveLight
CarveLight is a turn-based artillery game for up to four players, played on physics-driven terrain that can be fully destroyed. The cars have no health bars and cannot be repaired. The only way to eliminate an opponent is to remove the ground beneath them and send them off the map. The last car still driving wins.
Players take turns using more than a dozen terrain-altering weapons and tools, including a laser for precise cuts and a laser grenade for wider destruction. Matches can be played online or locally by passing a single controller between players. Turns can launch rival cars across the map, and players can also launch their own. The game uses a deterministic simulation and supports full match replays.
Other modes include solo challenges, where the goal is to knock every enemy car off the map as quickly as possible, with runs ranked on a global leaderboard. A sandbox mode provides unlimited weapons and an empty arena. An in-game map editor lets players build levels and play on them without leaving the game, and maps can be published to the Steam Workshop. One new DLC item has recently been added on Steam.
