Circuitra

Circuitra is a puzzle game in which the player runs a business that designs and builds custom circuit boards on a contract basis. Early contracts have basic requirements, but as the player purchases more components the available work grows in complexity and pays more. Progress is framed as building a reputation, with more demanding projects becoming available over time.

Although the theme is circuit board design, the gameplay draws on visual logic and programming, as well as the planning and building elements of automation games. Contracts differ in focus: some emphasise wire routing, others resource balancing, and some require large clusters of components to produce a high volume of a single resource. Players can choose which contracts to pursue, and certain contracts involve boolean logic through logic gates. Custom components can be built and reused to simplify solutions.

The game produces results instantly rather than requiring players to wait for resources to accumulate. Upgrades expand the inventory of components and tools, and histogram leaderboards allow players to compare their solutions with friends and other players.
