Cube Boy

Cube Boy is a point-and-click puzzle adventure set in a surreal black-and-white world. The player takes the role of a small cube-like boy who has inherited a strange house from his late uncle. The house is made up of interconnected rooms, and the aim is to explore them, uncover hidden passages, operate unusual mechanisms, and piece together clues found in the uncle’s notes and diary pages. The visual style is low-poly and draws on classic cartoon horror and dreamlike mystery, with a tone the developer describes as cosy spooky.

The puzzles cover several types, including hidden-object challenges, symbolic ciphers, mechanisms, and inventory-based problem solving, alongside a number of unusual interactions. The game centres on atmospheric exploration and discovery, and it contains no combat or chase sequences.

An optional hint system is available to guide players through the more difficult puzzles without providing full solutions. A Mahjong-inspired mini-game is also included as part of the experience.
